International Students, Inc. Rapid City is a non-profit, Christian friendship organization that has been assisting international students on campuses in Rapid City, South Dakota for over twenty years. In those 20 years, Kevin and Heather Fannin have welcomed close to 4,000 students from more than 110 different countries to Rapid City and the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
We provide whatever students need to succeed in every area of their lives. This can include airport pickups and short-term housing at the beginning and between semesters, finding used furniture, help with conversational English, meals and fellowship time on Wednesday and Fridays nights, and providing a place to find belonging. By supporting us through this fundraiser, you can help help meet those needs and so much more.
The International House at the center of it all is a place to meet with friends from around the world for home-cooked meals, friendly conversation, great music, and optional discussion group time. It's the place students call their home away from home. This communal space brings students together and your support goes to purchasing supplies, paying for day to day upkeep, along with providing meals and opportunities to connect.
We are reaching the world in tangible ways that may change the course of lives around the globe. Your support will allow us to continue to provide a place that helps someone far from home find a connection and a sense of community. Our ministry cannot continue without the generous support of our alumni, friends, and donors here in Rapid City and around the world. Please help us make a difference and partner with us today!
